Recently I was playing around with the Pastel Chalks and came up with a beautiful card that I absolutely LOVE!!!

I started out with a blank piece of Basic White then used the Daffodil Delight, Mango Melody, Granny Apple Green, Coastal Cabana and Night of Navy chalks to color the entire surface. I then randomly drew “veins” of color with the Gorgeous Grape, Mango Melody, Coastal Cabana and Night of Navy. After this, I blended the colors together using a Blending Brush then spritzed water on top of it to allow the colors to run together slightly then set in place. After this, I inked up the Time Worn Type 3D Embossing Folder with Gray Granite then ran the colored piece of Basic White through the embossing folder. At this point I took a Night of Navy Stampin’ Write Pen and flicked color over the surface. I then die cut a Brushed Metallic Gold twig, another sprig of Gold Metallic Paper and a flower from Basic White. I put these in place with glue, wrapped Fine Art Ribbon around the front then attached my sentiment that was stamped onto Crumb Cake using Night of Navy. Once again I flicked the front with the Night of Navy Stampin’ Write Pen concentrating on the Basic White flower. I put it all together and embellished it with Brushed Metallic Adhesive Backed Dots. I just love how it turned out!!!
