This week I have featured the Poinsettia Place Suite. I love poinsettia’s and remember my Mama purchasing poinsettias every year at Christmas. They’re such pretty flowers. I always loved the velvety texture of their petals. Well Stampin’ Up came out with Red Velvet paper in the mini catalog that helps us create die cut poinsettias that have his same soft texture and I love it!!!

I stamped the poinsettia image on the Red Velvet Paper then die cut it out and finished it off with the Beaded Pearl Embellishments to make a gorgeous poinsettia flower! I used the patterned paper from ‘Tis the Season DSP that actually has poinsettias in the pattern and used the Plush Poinsettia Specialty Paper as my background. The big beautiful sentiment has such a pretty font! I really like how this card turned out but I LOVE that gorgeous poinsettia!
