I designed these cards for a card class I held recently. The ladies loved this fun Autumn “Happy Birthday” card. It was really easy to make and turned out so pretty!

I started by inking half the “falling leaf” stamp at a time with Cajun Craze, Cherry Cobbler and Crushed Curry on Very Vanilla Cardstock. I also stamped the lid of the jar on Very Vanilla as well as the sentiment. I wanted to give it the effect of the leaves falling in the jar and by using half the stamp we were able to use different colors in different places. I then punched this out using the Jar punch.

I then stamped the shape of the jar with Black Memento ink onto Vellum and punched out using the coordinating Jar Punch. I used a glue dot to adhere the vellum to Very Vanilla stamped jar, placing them at the top of the jar where they won’t be seen. I fussy cut the lid for the jar out and attached it to the jar using mini dimensionals. I tied a bow using the Braided Trim ribbon and attached at the top with a glue dot.

I put the card together then attached the jar to the center of the card using dimensionals. I also popped the sentiment up using dimensionals and attached the In Good Taste wood element onto the card using a Mini Glue Dot. I also used the same technique of inking half the stamp with different colors for the inside. It turned out beautifully!
