ITimeless Tropical FB-1

For this week’s FB live event I recreated a card I designed for a design team I participate in. This month’s challenge was to create a simple card using the Timeless Tropical Suite. I love how my creation came out!

Timeless Tropical-3

For this card I embossed the smaller portion of Crumb Cake Cardstock using the Coastal Weave 3D embossing folder. I love the texture the embossing folder brings to the paper. For the palm trees, I inked my stamp with Mint Macaron ink then colored the trunks of the trees with my Soft Suede Stamping’ Write marker then huffed on it to re-moisten the ink for a good imprint! I love how it turned out!

Timeless Tropical-5

This was a fun and easy card to create. No special dies to create this one. For the hibiscus flower, I inked the stamp in Pool Party Ink then took a sponge dauber and dipped it in Pretty Peacock ink then colored the middle area of the flower huffed on this one then voila’ what a pretty flower you get!!!

Timeless Tropical-5

For this card I used the design my friend Leigh Kyzer submitted to the team for a fun fold. I changed the colors a bit and came out with this really pretty and colorful card. To stamp the Plumeria (flower) I inked it with Daffodil Delight then colored in the center with the Lovely Lipstick Stampin’ Write marker, again I huffed on it then TADA I got this gorgeous, colorful flower! I inked the leaf stamp with Granny Apple Green and stamped off before stamping it on the Whisper White.

Timeless Tropical-7

This card I designed for my Bunco Class I held in January where 16 people came together to craft and play Bunco.  At the time I didn’t have the stamp set  but wanted to use the paper. I used the sentiment from Colorful Seasons and loved how it came out!

Timeless Tropical Team Card

This is a card I designed for my virtual team meeting this Saturday. Since we are all Sheltered In Place, which is a nice phrase for QUARANTINED, I decided we needed to get together anyway for our team meeting so I sent product kits out and we are going to meet via Zoom.  This is a front flap folding Fun Fold. For directions on how to make it, click the link below to access the You Tube video tutorial where I created a card last Fall with this same design.
