Sometimes I struggle for inspiration. When I do struggle, I do one of two things; I look at projects in the catalog or I use card sketches. For this beautiful card, I was inspired by a card on Page 38 of the Mini Catalog. I just changed up the paper and used the same design and Voila’ I have a winner!!!

Peaceful Cabin

I used Thick Basic White for my card base and for my card front I used Peaceful Place DSP. I cut out circles from Peaceful Place DSP and Silver Foil and cut out a strip of Smoky Slate using a die from the Basic Borders Die Set. I stamped two sets of trees and a cabin using Smoky Slate and die cut them to make my card. I couldn’t be happier with the outcome!

Peaceful Place Cabin Catalog

This is the card from the catalog that I used as my inspiration. It’s a lot different from mine and it’s very pretty but I have to say I like mine better. Haha!

Be sure to watch the video to see how I made these gorgeous cards!
