Connecting People Through Paper Creations
This Facebook Live was recorded Thursday, May 11, 2021 and has very little editing.
During this live I made two cards. I demonstrated how to make a simple card with just stamping then stepped it up on another card to avid stamping with lots of bits and pieces that were die cut. I think they’re both equally beautiful.
For the first card, I stamped the window frame and using Soft Suede ink. I stamped the shutters in Misty Moonlight. For the clay pot, I used Cinnamon Cider ink and Just Jade ink for the greenery. I stamped off Sahara Sand ink to stamp the bricks then finished it off with my sentiment in Poppy Parade. Of course it wouldn’t be complete without some sort of embellishment for which I used Linen Twine that I doubled and made a bow. I absolutely love this card!
This next card is what is considered “Avid Stamping.” It really isn’t that much harder but there is more that goes into it. I die cut the window frame, shutters and ledge from Soft Suede and for the hinges I used Basic Black. I cut a piece of Basic White tp go behind the window frame. I embossed a piece of Pool Party for my card front using the Painted Texture 3D Embossing Folder which I LOVE! I stamped the clay pot and pitcher using Cinnamon Cider, the greenery using Just Jade and for the flowers I used Polished Pink and Fresh Freesia and lastly the sentiment was stamped using Soft Suede. I finished it off with Opal Round embellishments. I love it! This is such a pretty card!
