This Facebook Live was recorded Tuesday, March 30,  2021 and has very little editing.

For this Facebook Live, demonstrated four different alternatives to the March, 2021, Here’s To You Paper Pumpkin. I love how each of these turned out. So fun!

PP Alt Window Card

For the first card, I cut out the image that was printed on the front. I used the stencils to create an image to go inside the “window”. I used Sahara Sand, Pretty Peacock, Bumblebee and Night of Navy ink to create the view. I love how it turned out using the stencils!

PP Alt Square Image Petal Pink

For my second card I used the portion I had cut out of the first card then matted it with Seaside Spray. I used one of the inserts for the envelopes and cut it down then placed it on top of half of one of the Pretty Peacock cards that is provided in the kit. I stamped Happy Birthday using Seaside Spray and I really like how this card turned out. So easy!

PP Alt Gatefold

For this card, I took one of the beautiful card fronts that was provided. I cut it in half and layered it onto Pretty Peacock before placing it on my Seaside Spray that was scored and folded into a Gatefold. I popped the trees up using mini dimensionals then glued the bottom down using glue then cut it off using the oval as a guide. Measurements below.

Pp Alt Inspirational Pouch

This last project is a little pouch I made using the envelope. I cut off 1/8″ in off of each side so that the envelope becomes one long sheet. With the envelope on the trimmer with the narrow side up top, I scored the long sides at 1/2″. Placing the envelope with the flap of the envelope (sealing flap portion) on the right hand side, I positioned the scored section which was there as part of the envelope, on the 3/4″ line then score. I folded, burnished and cut away then placed adhesive and put the pouch together as shown in the video. Using Calypso coral and the flower stamp in the set, I stamped the flap of the envelope. I also cut a piece of the envelope insert and adhered to the pouch. I punched out a piece of the other design of envelope insert using a 1 1/2″ circle punch. I stamped my sentiment and made a banner punch then wrapped it all up using Braided Linen.

Pp Alt Inspirational Pouch-openI had already stamped images on pieces of Whisper White and my plan is to write affirmations or place scripture on the cards and give this inspirational pouch away as a gift. I love how it turned out!

I really enjoy making Paper Pumpkin Alternatives! I hope you will see what you can do with them as well!
