For this Facebook Live I demonstrated how you can take one 6″ x 6″ piece of DSP and create SIX different cards from it! I LOVE how all of these cards came out and hope you enjoy the tutorial!

I’m sure I’m not the first person to come up with this design but this is what I created as a template for my cards.  For the first card, I used the 1/2″ x 5 1/4″ piece of DSP. I love the look it created with the embossing folder!

For this first card, I used the Greenery Embossing Folder and embossed a piece of Garden Green Cardstock. Since the folder is 3-3/8″ inches wide rather than 4″, I embossed it on the right side of the page and used the 1/2″ strip of DSP to the left side of it.  I stamped a tree in Garden Green and sentiment in Real Red. I used the Story Label punch for my sentiment and the Label Me Lovely for the Real Red backing. I love the look of this simple card!

This card is made with Thick Whisper White Cardstock and Real Red Cardstock that has been embossed isomer the Parisian Flourish Embossing Folder. I used the 2″ x 3″ piece of DSP on this card, stamped and punched a Christmas tree in Garden Green and finished it off with embellishments and a sentiment. 

This card is made using the two 1 1/2″ squares. I backed them with 1 3/4″ Garden Green squares and added two for a patchwork quilt look. I embossed a piece of Cherry Cobbler using the Tasteful Textile Embossing Folder. I stamped Merry Christmas in Cherry Cobbler and topped the card off with a Garden Green stamped and punched tree and Wonderful Gem Embellishments. So pretty!

I used the other 2″ x 3″ piece of DSP for this card and flipped it to landscape position. I used Cherry Cobbler Cardstock for my card base and embossed a piece of Garden Green with the Tasteful Textiles Embossing Folder. I stamped the tree in Garden Green and the sentiment in Cherry Cobbler and punched the sentiment out using the Rectangular Postage Stamp punch. I think the Braided Linen trim finishes the card nicely.

This card is made using the 1″ x 5 1/4″ piece of DSP I backed it with a piece of Cherry Cobbler and Garden Green Cardstock to pull the colors together. I used the Everyday Label punch for the sentiment.

I absolutely love I really like how this last card turned out. It is simple and monochromatic. It is also the only card that I made with the flip side of the DSP which is a fun Cherry Cobbler design! This is the 2″ x 5 1/4″ piece that is backed with Cherry Cobbler. I finished it off using the Elegant Faceted Gems. Such a pretty card!
