Connecting People Through Paper Creations
This is the first card I ever made with the Blossoms in Bloom stamp set. I’m crazy about how easy and pretty this turned out. I stamped the flowers using the Stamparatus since its such a large stamp. I used Poppy Parade and Granny Apple Green Ink Pads along with Crushed Curry for the center of the flowers.
As you can see the large flower bunch is one stamp and creates such a pretty image. There are individual flowers, leaves and centers to those flowers as well as sentiments. The sentiments are so varied that you could make a card for almost any occasion.
My card front is Whisper White and is cut at 3 3/4″ x 5″. Once I got this stamped, I adhered it to a piece of Basic Black which measures 4″ x 5 1/4″ then I glued this on to my card base which is Poppy Parade Cardstock and I cut at 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ and scored at 4 1/4″.
Originally I stamped my sentiment onto the card base but I stamped it crooked so I corrected it by stamping it onto a strip of Whisper White then punched it out using the Classic Label Punch. I used Mini Dimensionals to pop it up and finished my pretty card off by placing Champagne Rhinestones Embellishments on the card.
I love how this simple card came out. It is a great design for making multiples which I think I will do for my July Thank You Notes.
