Band Together FF-1

I love fun folds so much and this card was my first attempt at a Step-Fold card. I really love how it turned out. That beautiful flower with the Old Olive paper is so pretty! This card is really not hard to make as long as you follow instructions. Duh!!! Apparently I got ahead of myself while making this one but I’m leaving my boo boo in the video so you can see there is hope!

Band Together FF-3I used Ornate Gardens designer series paper along with the Old Olive DSP and these papers are perfect together. I modified the size of the flower by only cutting out one of the stems but it is perfect for this front panel. I love the flower that is on the back of the card as well!  Such a fun card to make!

Cutting the inside panel-1

After you have scored your cardstock at 4 1/2″, then turn you paper so that your 4 1/4″ side is at the top of your trimmer. Place your paper at the 1″ mark on your trimmer then place your blade at 1″ and cut from the 1″ mark down to 6 1/2″ which is pretty much at the 4 1/2″ score mark. Turn your paper completely over and do this again.

Then turn your paper to the 11″ side and take your paper to the 1″ mark on your trimmer. Score on the 1″ piece on each side leaving the panel in the middle unscored then move your paper to the 2″ mark on your trimmer and score in the same manner. Lastly move your paper to the 6 1/2″ mark on your trimmer (skipping the 1″ piece) and score the inside panel (skipping the last 1″ piece).
